This Privacy Policy explains how Activa BLDC Fan Remote handles user information. Our fundamental architecture is completely offline and privacy-first: we do not collect, store, transmit, monetize, or sell any of your personal data or usage metrics. 2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Activa BLDC Fan Remote mobile application (Package Name: com.karyanest.activaremote) distributed via Google Play Store and official channels.
3. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information
None. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, account credentials, payment info, or biometric data. No account creation or registration is required to use any feature of the app.
B. Device Information
None. We do not collect or record device serial numbers, IMEI, advertising IDs (GAID/AAID), MAC addresses, or IP addresses.
C. Usage & Analytics Data
None. We do not embed analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Flurry). We do not record button clicks, session duration, screen views, or user interaction patterns.
D. Location Data
None. The app does not request, access, monitor, or track GPS, network location, or Wi-Fi triangulation data.
E. Permissions-Based Data
The app only requests access to the device's hardware Infrared (IR) emitter. No access is requested or used for camera, microphone, contacts, storage, SMS, photos, or phone state.
4. How We Collect Information
Because the app does not collect personal data, no data collection mechanisms (such as web forms, tracking cookies, background daemons, or server APIs) are present in the app.
5. How We Use Your Information
Since no personal information is collected, we do not use, profile, or monetize any user data. All configuration settings (such as chosen UI theme or notification preference) are stored strictly locally on your device using Android's private SharedPreferences sandbox.
6. Permissions Justification
Google Play requires transparent disclosure of all Android permissions declared in the manifest:

7. Third-Party Services & SDKs
The app contains zero third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. It integrates only official Google Play Core libraries for standard platform functions:

play:app-update-ktx): Checks for critical version updates and enforces compatibility releases via Google Play.
Any interactions with Google Play services are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with any third parties. Because we do not collect any personal data, no user information can be disclosed to advertisers, data brokers, law enforcement, or external entities.
9. Data Storage & Security
All application state preferences (such as light/dark mode preference and notification enable switch) are stored locally in private application storage on your device. We do not maintain any external cloud servers or remote databases.
10. Data Retention Policy
Because no personal data is transmitted to external servers, we retain no user data. Local preferences are retained on your device solely for the duration of the app's installation and are deleted immediately when you uninstall the app or clear app storage in Android Settings.
11. User Rights & Choices
- Access & Portability: Since we do not collect or store your personal data, we have no personal data records to provide.
- Opt-Out of Notifications: You can enable or disable the notification remote controller at any time directly within the app's Settings tab.
- Revoke Permissions: You can revoke the notification permission at any time via Android System Settings → Apps → Activa Remote → Permissions.
12. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Activa BLDC Fan Remote is a general utility app designed for all audiences. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction), in strict accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policy.
13. International Data Transfers (GDPR Compliance)
For users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Because our application operates entirely on-device and does not collect or transmit personal data, no international data transfers of personal data occur.
14. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA Compliance)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA): We do not collect, sell, or share personal information of California consumers with third parties for commercial or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
15. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The mobile application does not use browser cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, or fingerprinting identifiers.
16. Data Deletion Requests
Because Activa BLDC Fan Remote does not collect, store, or transmit any user data or account records to external servers, there is no remote data to delete. Uninstalling the app from your device automatically purges all locally cached preferences.
