Broken Navbar Fix is designed as an offline-first utility. We do not collect, store, upload, track, or share any personal data or usage metrics. Your device settings and key inputs never leave your device.

1. Accessibility Service API Usage
Broken Navbar Fix requires you to enable the Android Accessibility Service API. This is a sensitive permission, and we want to explain exactly how it is used:
- Purpose: The API is used strictly to render the custom navigation bar overlay on top of other applications, and to perform standard system navigation commands (Back, Home, Recents, Lock Screen, and the Power Menu dialog).
- No Monitoring or Data Harvesting: We do not use the Accessibility API to read your screen content, collect keystrokes, track what applications you open, or harvest any personal information. All actions are triggered solely by your manual taps on our custom navigation buttons.
- Necessity: The Android operating system requires Accessibility privileges to draw overlays that can pass touch events through to background apps and to trigger system-level navigation events. Without this permission, the app cannot function.
2. Information Collection and Sharing
Because we value your privacy, we have enforced strict data boundaries:
- No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, location data, or device identifiers.
- No Tracking: The app does not track your location, app usage patterns, or screen-on time in the background.
- No Data Sharing: Since we do not collect any data, no information is shared, sold, or distributed to third parties, advertisers, or analytics networks.
3. Advertising and Analytics
Broken Navbar Fix is completely Ad-Free. We do not integrate third-party ad networks, tracking SDKs, or analytics software. Your app experience is clean and private.
4. Data Security
All settings and configuration choices are stored locally on your device using Android's secure SharedPreferences system. Your preferences are protected by the operating system's native application sandbox.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top of the policy will be updated accordingly.
