Overview & Core Promise
This Privacy Policy explains how One-Tap Counter handles user information. Our design philosophy is completely offline-first and private by default: we do not show ads, and we do not collect, store, transmit, monetize, or share any of your habits, counts, tap history, or personal data. All your tracking data stays exclusively on your device.

One-Tap Counter is developed and published by Karyanest Softwares (founded by Sourav). We build privacy-first, offline utilities that run entirely on your hardware without cloud dependencies, ad trackers, or monthly subscriptions.

2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies solely to the One-Tap Counter mobile application (Package Name: com.karyanest.onetapcount) distributed via Google Play Store and official download channels.
3. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information
None. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, account credentials, physical addresses, or biometric data. No account creation, login, or registration is required to use any feature of the application.
B. Habit & Counter Data
Stored 100% locally. Every counter name, tap event, timestamp, target goal, measurement unit, and note you enter is written directly into your device's private sandbox storage. This data is never transmitted to any external server or cloud database.
C. Device & Network Identifiers
None. The application does not collect device serial numbers, IMEI, Google Advertising ID (GAID/AAID), MAC addresses, or IP addresses.
D. Usage Analytics & Telemetry
None. The app contains zero analytics frameworks (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude). We do not track screen views, button clicks, or behavioral usage patterns.
E. Location Data
None. One-Tap Counter never requests or accesses GPS, network location, or Wi-Fi triangulation data.
4. Advertising Policy
One-Tap Counter is 100% ad-free. The application contains no advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin, or Meta Audience Network). We do not serve banners, interstitial pop-ups, rewarded videos, or native ads.
5. How We Store and Protect Your Data
All data generated within One-Tap Counter is stored locally inside your device's protected internal storage (using secure local database storage). Because no data is transmitted over the internet or stored on cloud servers, your information is immune to remote server breaches, external eavesdropping, or unauthorized third-party access.
6. Permissions and System Access
One-Tap Counter adheres to the principle of least privilege and requires zero invasive permissions:

7. Third-Party Services & Libraries
The application does not include any third-party marketing, advertising, or data-broker libraries. It uses only official Google Play developer libraries for platform compliance:
- Google Play In-App Review (
in_app_review): Allows users to optionally rate the app on Google Play without leaving the application. - Google Play In-App Update (
in_app_update): Informs users when a new version is available on Google Play to ensure you have the latest performance updates.
Platform interactions with Google Play are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Backup, Export, and Data Portability
You have complete ownership and control over your data at all times:
- JSON Backup & Restore: Create complete snapshots of your counters, icons, and timestamped logs. You can save, share, or transfer this file to any other device running One-Tap Counter.
- CSV Spreadsheet Export: Export your full history in standard tabular format compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or data analysis tools.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
- In-App Reset: The application includes a "Reset to Defaults" option in the sidebar menu that permanently erases all custom counters and logged history from the local database.
- Complete Deletion on Uninstall: Because all data resides in the application's private sandbox directory, uninstalling One-Tap Counter from your device permanently removes all data associated with the app.
10. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
One-Tap Counter is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction), complying fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policy.
11. International Privacy Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)
- GDPR (European Union & UK): Because the application does not collect or transmit personal data to remote servers, no processing or cross-border transfers of personal data take place.
- CCPA / CPRA (California Consumers): We do not sell, rent, or share personal information of consumers for monetary or other valuable consideration.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect feature additions or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly to this page with a revised "Effective Date" at the top.
