Universal Android TV Remote is designed as a local utility. We prioritize your privacy: remote control actions, credentials, and settings stay on your device and your TV.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle device permissions, user data, and payments within the application.
1. Data Safety & Processing
- No Direct Personal Information Collection: We do not collect personal information directly (such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, or physical location data).
- Local Volatile Processing: All remote control buttons, touchpad gesture navigation inputs, and typed keyboard entries are processed in volatile memory on your hardware and transmitted directly over your local network links to your TV. They are never logged, stored, or sent to external servers.
2. In-App Purchases & Payments Policy
The Application offers optional digital upgrades and Pro subscriptions processed securely through Google Play In-App Billing and RevenueCat. We do not store or access your credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or financial credentials. All financial transactions are managed entirely by Google Play.

3. Permissions and Usage
The App requires specific Android permissions to function as a local TV Remote and provide network utility services:
- Local Network / Wi-Fi: Used to discover, connect to, and control your Android TV over your home network.
- Bluetooth: Used to turn on and wake your paired TV. We do not use Bluetooth for location tracking or collecting personal data.
- Microphone (Record Audio): Used solely for voice search and commands when you hold the microphone button. Voice audio is processed in real time and is never recorded, stored, or sent to our servers.
- Vibration: Used to provide haptic vibration feedback when buttons are tapped.
4. Advertising and Stability
- Google AdMob: Integrated to serve advertisements to users. AdMob may process device identifiers and telemetry in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: Used solely to log anonymous crash reports and monitor application stability. No raw hardware identifiers or personal info are shared.
- RevenueCat: Used to securely manage and verify subscription entitlements via Google Play.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed toward children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
